Important update for farmers: I checked the official Sindh Agriculture Department website. It lists an application form for the solar water pump subsidy scheme, but that form was published on 6 May 2022. I could not verify a newly issued official application notice confirming that fresh applications are currently open.

A separate, non-government website reported a deadline of 20 February 2026 for a solar tubewell initiative. That date has passed, and I would not treat the report as proof of a new application round.
How farmers should proceed
- Visit the official application page linked above.
- Contact the Agriculture Department to confirm whether the old form is still accepted.
- Ask about the current application deadline, landholding criteria and required documents.
- Confirm the applicable subsidy percentage and any farmer contribution before making a payment.
